Eyes

Eyes are the window to the soul; eyes help us identify the person standing in front of us and this is proved by the fact that, if we cover a person's eyes in a photo, we cannot recognise them.

The ancient Egyptians used to decorate the contours of eyes with a large black line in order to bring to the fore the white part of the eyeball; in fact, highlighting eyes with a dark colour makes them appear more magnetic and profound.

We can perform many different procedures on eyes:

• We can either work solely on the upper eyelid or on the lower eyelid or on both;
• Make only a few little spots in between the eyelashes, obtaining an invisible effect that still enhances the dark part of the lashes;
• Draw a very thin line, in part on the eyelashes and also just a little above in order to improve the expression of the look;
• Draw a line to improve the look of the eye;
• Create a real eye liner effect (this procedure has to be performed very carefully and is done only in those cases in which it is really necessary).
